The city of Rouen

Rouen, historical Capital of Normandy, is located in the Seine-Maritime department on the Seine river. The city, also known as the "Ville aux cent clochers" has preserved much of its historical centre which is now largely composed of pedestrian streets.

How to come to the conference

The conference will be held in the faculty of science, university of Rouen, in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray (8 km south of Rouen). From the center of Rouen, take the metro to Technopole (Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray). Get off at the terminus (after around 35-40 minutes). The conference will take place in "amphi D", UFR des Sciences, which will be indicated by signposting on the campus.

- By train: Rouen is 75 minutes far from Paris (Saint-Lazare Station) by railroad.

- By car: Rouen is located 80 miles northwest of Paris (A13 highway).
